McClain Matthews Insurance: It’s Not Business As Usual With Us
Today’s business environment is fraught with all kinds of risks and emerging exposures that takes an experienced insurance firm to put together a broad and affordable plan for companies no matter what their size. That firm is McClain Matthews Insurance, which has been serving Indianapolis businesses and the surrounding counties since 1948. It’s our reputation – based on integrity and trust – that has the business community looking to our experience and expertise to put the right insurance plan into action; one that will protect you today and down the road. Our staff will review your operation, pinpoint where your exposures are, and put together a plan that addresses your unique risk profile. We will also look at your current policies to determine if there are any coverage gaps, leaving you exposed in the event of a loss, and make recommendations on how to remove those gaps.
Open for Business: Our Commercial Insurance SolutionsWe offer a broad selection of business insurance policies that we customize for each of our clients and their needs. Here are some of the policies we offer:
Business Owners Policy (BOP): Depending on your operation, we provide small and midsize businesses with a BOP that combines Liability and Property insurance. A BOP can also be expanded with additional liability options as well as Business Income with Extra Expense, Equipment Breakdown insurance, Crime insurance, Hired and Non-owned Auto insurance, coverage for outdoor signs, money and securities, and other Inland Marine insurance.
Commercial Package Policy: With this policy, you can select the specific coverages you want and bundle them as a multi-policy package. Often, an insurer will offer a discount on your premium when you combine policies in this way.
Commercial Automobile We have a policy to fit your business needs, whether you have one company car, rely on the personal autos of your employees, your business uses hired or rental cars, or you own a fleet of cars.
Commercial General Liability: We’ll protect your business in the event of an injury to someone or damage to their property resulting from actions by your company or its employees. Coverage pays for defense costs and settlements and damages up to the limit listed in your policy and can be enhanced with Commercial Umbrella insurance.
Commercial Umbrella: This policy is designed to increase the coverage you have in your underlying primary policies. An Umbrella can provide the needed level of extra funding for personal injuries to third parties or property damage to expensive vehicles, machinery, equipment or other belongings and structures.
Commercial Property: Provides coverage to help protect offices, warehouses, garages, rental units, residential complexes and more from hazards such as storm damage, fire, theft, explosion, burst pipes and vandalism. Policies can often be enhanced or separately purchased to cover risks that are excluded or limited, such as employee crime, equipment breakdown, and flood, among others.
Professional Liability: Also referred to as Errors and Omissions insurance (E&O), this coverage is available to professionals across all industries, including contractors who have design/build operations, architects and engineers, real estate agents, and financial services professionals, among others. It provides coverage in the event you are accused of an error or omission that results in financial loss to an individual or business.
Employment Practices Liability Insurance (EPLI): Today’s work environment comes with great risks arising from employee-related issues, such as allegations of wrongful termination, sexual harassment, discrimination, and wage theft, among others. EPLI covers defense costs and potential settlements in the event of an employee claim or litigation.
Cyber Liability: The threat of a cyber security breach looms large for big and small businesses alike, and the costs can be devastating without a Cyber Liability policy. Commercial General Liability insurance will not respond in the event of a cyber loss. Cyber Liability coverage provides insurance to cover the costs of notification expenses, credit card monitoring, forensics, business interruption as result of a breach, PR expenses, penalties and fines, third-party losses and more.
Workers’ Compensation: Covers your employees for job-related injury, illness or disability. Our carrier partners work with you and your employees to process claims expeditiously, and are also interested in helping employees recuperate and return to work. They will conduct active case management and promote return-to-work programs that include light-duty and temporary assignments that boost employee morale and mitigate lost-income costs.
